Greetings, all!
Was wondering what your motivations were or are for becoming a clown. Why are you here, and what are your goals if any? Or as a prospective employer might put it, where do you see your clown-self 5 years from now?

Hey Muddyshoes, It all started when I was filming my annual birthday parody video for my friend's birthday at a local park. The song/video was a parody of Katy Perry's 'California Girls' called 'I Wish for Ya, Girl'! Here's a link to the video: youtu.be/zAcMHJH89Hk. Even though my sister, Kelly, and I were wearing cheap clown outfits from the local party store, my vision for the video was to look a little ridiculous and candyland-ish like Katy Perry, not to look like a clown. While we were filming we had numerous parents and kids ask us for pictures and some even asked if we did parties! Of course, we thought that was hilarious; but, the more I thought about it, I thought 'that would be a pretty fun thing to do!' I'm a part time college student and the stress of the semester isn't very exciting so my mom recommended that I call and see if Fun World Clown Alley had any openings in their school that started in a week! Well, I got in and Cattywampus was born! Clown school was an absolutely, flying-birthday-cake, awesome experience for me and I'm forever thankful for the wonderful clowns involved! The first time I saw the way people's eyes light up at the sight of Cattywampus, I knew I was where I'm supposed to be! I hope to do volunteer work around the community as well as try my red nose at doing birthday parties.

Hi MuddyShoes - I've been talking with my best buddie, LuSilly, about becoming a clown for several years. She saw the ad for the school & we decided to go. We both work with the children's ministry at our church and wanted to incorporate what we learned in that area. However, we also did this for fun - and we are certainly enjoying ourselves!! Eventually, we would like to turn this endeavor into a family-friendly business, and earn extra income as well as donate our time and efforts for charitable events. Thanks for setting up this site! Annie M

That's what I've been saying as well. I was born a clown, but now I've learned how to do the makeup...it's official.

My mom says I'm so funny all the time and I love to make people laugh. My mom found Fun World and Rumblebum was born. I'm really having fun.
